What was the most challenging aspect of this unit? Explain.

Critique the overall human for in art research project. Should this project be taught in ninth grade Humanities English? Why or why not?

the most challenging aspect was the research part, with trying to understand how the context of the painting is related to the subject. The powerpoint part worked well for me and was helpful. The blogging part didnt work for me, it made everything confusing and hard.
I think the human form in art project should be taught to ninth graders, but without the blogging. and without computers. or less computers.

3. my piece of art is 'Atomica Melancholia' by Salvador Dali. next i'm going to finish my analysis.

4. my biggest challenge with this project is the blogging part. i find it really frustrating.

i have mainly been using google! with the recources online, some are really helpful and some aren't. The art piece i chose does have the human form, although some of it is really odd and doesn't look like a person totally. I have my piece chosen, i'm working on my presentation, my written description is done, and i'm also working on the analysis.

It's called "Atomica Melancholia" and it's by Salvodar Dali. It was painted in 1945 in America.

I actually picked it out a while ago but I couldn't find the title anywhere.

first entry!

so far, the the human form in art research project has been really interesting. looking at the different art books has been really fun. i haven't chosen an art peice yet, but i have it narrowed down to a couple. i don't have any questions yet. my next step would be to pick an art piece.
